To consider how much of your creative energy you pour into the platform.

And to consider other places where you can bring new leads into your business.

Phew. This post makes me a little emotional because if I’m honest I could look back in my journals and find every one of these lies written down somewhere.

You’re carrying around a lot of stories.

And for a lot of you, they’re quietly calling the shots from the shadows.

They’re keeping you small.
Keeping you safe.
Keeping you exactly where you were six months ago.

Recognizing them doesn’t make them magically disappear, but it does give you the ability to put them in their place. To quiet the lies. To replace them with what’s really true about you.

Of all the strategy and content and marketing and messaging I help women with, THIS is the most important work of all. This is what matters most.

When you’re in my world, we don’t just work on your strategy, we work on your stories. And your heart. Because every SOFT business starts there.

I saved this song a few weeks ago to my Spotify playlist. As I searched for a song to add to this post tonight, it was the first one recommended to me. I hadn’t really listened closely to the lyrics until this moment:

“If I could only get out, only get out, of my own way,

I’m not sure there could be a more perfect song for these words, and for my hope that you’ll let the FULLEST, TRUEST, most BEAUTIFUL version of YOU shine through✨

I hate giving this space in my feed. But more importantly, I hate that they’re reaching out to so many of you as if they were me.

I already reported it to Instagram (this is why I have the meta verified badge) but because they aren’t directly using my name, apparently, they see no issue. 🙄

I’ve reported them again today and I’m waiting to hear.

The good news is that a trademark was already filed for “SOFT Business School”. And my lawyer knows. Because SOFT is strong. And we don’t mess around. 💪🏼

But I’m hoping handles this first.

In the meantime, I will never reach out to you cold in the DMs. Never ask you to move a convo to WhatsApp. Never ask you to pay for a program outside of a secure checkout page on my website.
