IKA will be conducting self-defense lessons for women at Transformations Fitness club in Pasadena. Fitness Club members are free.

Non members Cost: $129 for 10 classes or you can sign up for a membership at $18 a week with no commitment. This will allow you not only to get the self-defense training, but also get in better physical shape because of all the wonderful classes they offer.

Chiba, a ferociously talented martial artist who starred in films like "The Street Fighter" and "Kill Bill" series, died this week from Covid-19, his representative confirmed to CNN. Chiba was 82.
