What if I told you that CrossFit done consistently is the best way to improve your fitness?

Tang ping is a Chinese slang term that means “lying flat” and describes a personal choice to opt out of relentless societal and workplace pressures. CrossFit workouts can be grueling, but we are always in control of the intensity. We can and should scale, slow down, or stop whenever needed.

It’s better that you show up 10 times in a month and CF tang ping the WOD rather than show up twice a month and go all out.

This has been our gym’s approach from day one, but now we have a name for it.

That was truly a wonderful way to spend a Sunday 💕 Thank you all so much! It was so much fun 🥰

⬆️ What a member said after our tubing adventure and I agree 100%. Any time we get together, it’s a delight. And to do so in nature was the cherry on top 🍒

We saw an eagle, a flock of mergansers, and a giant spider 👀

At ZEHBRAS, we have at least one social event a month. The goal is to take our fitness outside and experience (sometimes new) things together 🦓

This month, were running/walking the Rep Your Run Crew race and having a picnic in Druid Hill Park 🏃🏽‍♀️☀️

In August, we focused on gymnastics. Athletes took on workouts and skill work with bodyweight movements and a broader focus on moving through space more efficiently 🤸🏽‍♀️

We’ll work on Olympic lifting in September. Expect to see relatively heavy Olympic lifting days and workouts that prioritize cycling a lighter barbell for large, unbroken sets 🏋🏾‍♀️
