Solidarity with Nepal’s Gen-Z Movement

The Far Western Nepalese Society – Maryland (FWNS-MD) stands in full solidarity with the people of Nepal, especially the courageous Gen-Z youth leading today’s historic movement for freedom, justice, and accountability.

We mourn the tragic loss of lives in Kathmandu Valley and across Nepal. No one should lose their life for demanding dignity and democratic rights.

As part of the Nepali diaspora in the United States, we amplify the voices of our brothers and sisters back home and call on the Government of Nepal to listen to its citizens, stop the violence, and uphold constitutional freedoms.
