Your kids will remember connection far more than elaborate schedules, expensive outings, or Pinterest-worthy moments.

A few simple ways to connect this summer:
• A walk after dinner
• Letting them help make lunch
• Reading together before bed
• Ten minutes of uninterrupted attention
• Laughing together in the middle of the chaos

This is what joy looks like behind the scenes at Bloom.

At our last team connect, we got to slow down for a different reason: celebrating someone who spends her days making sure everyone else feels cared for.

Shell, our lovely Wellness Coordinator, supports our clients and our community with a real heart for mental health advocacy and everyday wellness. She’s the kind of person who notices what you need before you say it, and who works to make Bloom a place where people feel understood. So gathering to shower her with love before her newest chapter begins felt exactly right.

This is the kind of team we are. We take care of each other the way we hope to take care of you, with warmth, presence, and a whole lot of joy.

joy (noun): a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.

Simple definition. Harder to access when you’ve spent years treating it like something to earn.

Check the boxes. Hit the goals. Get through the hard season. Then you can feel it.

But joy doesn’t work like that. It’s not a destination you arrive at when the circumstances are finally right. It’s an internal state — already available, in the middle of an ordinary Tuesday, in moments you might be moving too fast to notice.

This month, we’re coming back to joy. Not as something to achieve — as something to notice.

In just a couple of weeks, we’ll be embracing a new word of the month for June: JOY.

When Annie from shared her word of the month for June is BLOOMING, we knew we had to collaborate in some way.

We are two meaningful businesses thriving in community, connection, movement, wellness, and mindfulness. We invite you to come slow down with us and connect through one of our collaborative experiences next month.

💜Wellness Professionals: join us at Bloom SoCo June 5th 11:30am-1pm for our (*2 year anniversary*) of Grow + Connect. This event has always been for the authentic wellness, caring professionals. And this one is special because Annie will lead us in the breath of joy 🧘‍♀️

🌳Bloom in Nature June 7th at Suson Park 9am-11am yoga by Annie, guided meditation by Katelyn from Bloom. Walk and journal in nature and in community.

We love this collab for many reasons and can’t wait to bloom through joy alongside you this June.
