Your brain will find any exit it can.

Two miles from the finish. Suddenly you have to stop and p*e.

Maybe you do. Maybe you don’t.

Here’s what I do — 2 to 3 seconds, redirect, keep moving.

When your body is under stress, your brain looks for a way out. That urge is the signal.

Most athletes hear “no limitations” and push.
He didn’t. That’s the signal.

Off-season Phase 1 isn’t about max sp*ed or hard conditioning. It’s about rebuilding the confidence his hamstring lost.

The decision to train smart when no one is watching — that’s where performance is actually built.
