Real world applications to increase officer safety, mission success, and civilian defenders. Kelly Eads, the owner of TRRG, served in the 101st Airborne as an Infantryman, and later Scout in their Battalion Recon/Sniper Platoon from 2003-2009. After exiting the military he served in numerous law enforcement roles. Kelly received most of his weapon training and further tactical training and experience while serving as an Operator and Sniper on a federally funded Tactical Team in the Kansas City Metro, that could was trained for conventional Tactical Unit service, and was federally funded for further training and skillsets in Direct Action and Counter Terrorism Response. Kelly advanced his skillsets by aggressively pursuing further training regionally and nationwide, training with local, state, federal and US Army Special Operations personnel. Kelly is a proud husband, father, author and patriot.

Green Berets, yes, SWAT guys, no. Hell, fought them for years to train on shoulder transitions but had the hardest push back in the “why” department. And the “I’ll never do this operationally” mindset.

It equals less exposure and higher rate of hit on target before target get hits on you.

As stated, switch up feet when transitioning shoulders and keep elbow in tight to body.

Steps: Forward hand drops back to front of magwell, press butt of gun out and around gear/ chest to opposite shoulder. Rear hand now moves to front end and hand on magwell to rear portion (trigger control). Tuck elbow and reposition feet too, but not always 😂 To many ways to skin a cat!

Update on Range

Had a meeting with the county today. Have some major hurdles to maneuver over to get this range built. They’re in place for a reason. The last open range that was proposed in this county was shot down by the community about 3 years ago, not county. I truly appreciate the counties assistance and straight forward honesty. Said I have about a 1 percent chance to make this happen. I need to win over my neighbors and ensure them their safety and concerns are absolutely my highest priority. We’ll see how this goes. Have to attend three hearings to give my pitch and take open community questions while probably having media on site. I accept the challenge and am looking forward to it. This is a passion of mine, ensuring our nations finest (law enforcement and military) have a place to train at and get additional advanced training from. Hoping it all works out but if not, a commercial range may not be in the works. Can still provide mobile training teams to assist you and your agency no matter where you may be.
