’Twas the Brunch Before Christmas at the Golf Course So Grand
On the terrace o’erlooking the fairway’s soft green,
Stands a tall Christmas tree in its holiday sheen.
With twinkling lights glowing and ornaments bright,
It sparkles like magic in the soft evening light.
Gifts wrapped in ribbons sit snug at its base,
While garlands with bows the stone railings embrace.
Beyond lies the lake, calm and still as the night,
Reflecting the clouds in the fading twilight.
Here jolly Saint Nick will soon take his seat,
With pancakes and mimosas, a holiday treat.
Kids share their wishes by the tree’s warm glow,
While golfers swap stories of drives long ago.
The hot chocolate is flowing, the bacon is crisp,
Waffles topped with berries—a sweet, joyful bliss.
Laughter echoes softly o’er the water so wide,
As families gather with cheer on each side.
At our Santa Brunch here on the course we adore,
May joy fill your hearts forevermore.
From the star atop high to the gifts down below—
Merry Christmas to all, and a hearty “Fore-ho!”
