New Heights Equestrian Hunter/jumper trainer in Roberts, WI.

While the horses have the week off from horse showing, the toddler still gets his workouts in!

Cruise had no right lead when he came, so we’ve been working hard on building balance, confidence, and muscle on the ground and through lots of walk and trot work. Not only is he picking up his leads, but holding it on a loose rein.

I see so many thoroughbreds rushed into an over fences career- stick to the basics and the rest will follow.

I’m so excited for this one’s future! 🌟

What a great weekend!!

SAT
🏆Kinsey and Maiya were champions in the crossrail hunters
🥈Goose and Avery were second and 3rd over fences in the 2’3 hunters (in a torrential downpour)

SUNDAY
🏆 Kinsey and Maiya won the 1’6 RPHSA medal and 2nd in the RPHSA derby
🥈Goose and Avery had a great round in the RPHSA medal and 2nd in the warm up!
🫶🏼Goose and I went back for the .90 jumpers, but our confidence just wasn’t there. We retired after jump 3 to keep spirits high!

After a long weekend of showing, the horses are out to their new pasture and have a well deserved break.

Lessons will continue later this week so the horses have time to settle and re-coop 💛
