A Man of his Word.
I have to say, after a rash of difficult ding-dongs to deal with here over the past month (know-it-all du*****es that don’t know how to shut up, Stolen Valor BS’ers, and cheap-skate goobers trying to scam me to save a few nickels - like the Unholy Trinity of Retail), today was a distinct pleasure.
It was absolutely refreshing to have a young customer deliver payment-in-full today.
He had contacted me asking if I had any Turkey Loads about a week ago. I told him I didn’t have much ammo stocked at the moment; but would see what I could do.
A brief search turned up an older box of 3-inch Magnum 12GA 5-shot Re*****on loads in my personal stash.
He showed up to get them, and I told him I couldn’t vouch for their age; and advised him to test them out before heading to the woods.
He asked how much - and I told him they would cost exactly one Turkey feather, to put in the band of my cowboy hat.
He dropped it off for me today, and I think it’s a dandy.
Faith in humanity restored.
