Thanks for all the help today organizing the barns today. We were able to move all of our posts from the back bay of the barn to the front bay so we can access them without climbing over half a dozen snow drags to get to the door. We also cleaned out a lot of scrap and garbage that was a bit mice infested. Thanks to all the volunteers: Ted P, Allan P, Allan H, Melissa H, Dan L, Brian H, Art R, and 3 young men helping us from Lake county we were able to accomplish just about everything we needed. We had a nice lunch grilling up some awesome hot dogs from our commercial member Ebels and some of their smoked chicken. Special thanks to Dan L and Allan P for bringing their tractors with forks to make it easier to move the bigger items. We also installed some new lights on the main barn for extra security. Thanks again everyone and hopefully we will see many of you for the parade in July!

2/26 Update: with some freah snow around the Baldwin area, our north sections of our trails (3,340,35 and 325) were groomed last night. We didn't do the rail trail from Baldwin to Reed City as it is pretty thin on snow there. The middle sections of our trails (3,320, 324) should be groomed tonight. Hopefully we can firm things up to make it through the warmup.

3 board members are in Sault St Marie attending the annual groomer workshop with Michigan Snowmobile and ORV Association. We have learned alot the first couple of days and have 1 more busy day tomorrow. We also won one of several door prizes given out to some of clubs attending, a dewalt cordless grease gun! We will put this to good use with our equipment maintenance. Hoping to get some riding in while we are here tomorrow and Friday.
