It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our community’s true baseball legends, Guy Wintermute.

For many years, Guy was more than just a player, coach, mentor, and supporter of local baseball — he was a symbol of dedication, heart, and pride for our community. His impact reached far beyond the field, touching the lives of countless players, families, and fans who had the privilege of knowing him.

Whether it was through his leadership, love for the game, or the encouragement he gave to young athletes, Guy helped shape generations and left a legacy that will never be forgotten. He represented everything great about baseball and about our town: passion, respect, teamwork, and family.

Today, we mourn a tremendous loss, but we also celebrate an incredible life and legacy that will continue to inspire all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Wintermute family during this difficult time.

Rest easy, legend. Your name and legacy will forever live on in our community and on the baseball field you loved so much
