North Star Dek Hockey

North Star Dek Hockey Located in Richland Township with players from surrounding communities, North Star Dek Hockey is a product of the Penguins Foundation's Project Power Play

After Construction in late 2013, the first season kicked off in February of 2014 and sessions ran through the fall. North Star Dek Hockey is simply a name to indicate that the player development we strive for is welcome to everyone who can make it to the dek. The dek is located in Richland Township Community Park and maintained by the township. We succeed through the administrative efforts of the

Pine-Richland Youth Center (PRYC.org) as an established 501(3)c non-profit to handle all of our registrations, insurance, and payments. Currently, all staff are volunteers in order to return as much money back into the program as possible after costs such as maintenance, shirts, trophies, etc are paid out.

Who’s ready to kick off the Spring 2026 dek season with us this Saturday, April 4th?! We can’t wait to see all of you.

As a reminder practices all start at 6pm. 4-6 is on Tuesday, 7-9 on Wednesday and 10-12 will meet on Thursday. 13-15 ONLY has Saturday games.

Game times are listed below. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time and be dressed and ready to play!

It’s a beautiful night for practice and a little scrimmage! We are always looking for new players from 4-15! No gear, and wanting to try it out but not ready to commit to buying gear? Let us know and we will do our best to hook you up with some to try. (Especially the little kids) No experience necessary.

Fall session is quickly coming to a close but we will be back in the spring. Want to see what a game looks like stop up on Saturday mornings from 9-1 and introduce yourself to one of the coaches.
