We're honored to share that the 2025 Bakersfield Marathon has been nominated for a 2026 Beautiful Bakersfield Award in the Health & Wellness category.

What started as a race has become so much more. Every year, thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers, spectators, partners, and community members come together to celebrate movement, perseverance, and the spirit of Bakersfield.

This nomination belongs to all of you.

We're proud to represent Bakersfield and grateful to be recognized alongside so many individuals and organizations making a positive impact across our city.

The Beautiful Bakersfield Awards take place on June 13. Wish us luck!
