Bakersfield Budo Traditional Japanese Martial Arts. Offering instruction in Karate, Aikido, and Iaido for Kern County and the Greater Bakersfield area.

Budo literally means "martial way" and encompasses the practice of martial arts as a way to better yourself and the world around you. We practice Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu as an official Branch Dojo of the Kokusai Nippon Budo. Aikido authorized by the United States Aikido Federation under Yamada Shihan of New York. This vintage comes with a little homemade dojo artwork as the wine label to reflect with while MAKING IT THROUGH some pretty tough times. ❤️

The youth Karate class performed wonderfully tonight! This Wednesday marked the first Shinsa (promotion examination) for several of our new students. The is growing at a good pace, we are eager to see where 2020 takes us. A special thank you to for all of her hard work. Kristy has proven to be a natural educator, it’s likely in her blood. Additional thanks to the parents of these dedicated young people, we truly enjoy the kids, thank you for allowing us to share what we do with them.
