Twenty-five years ago, our nation was changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, we witnessed unimaginable evil and heartbreaking loss. We remember the 2,977 lives taken that day, honor the families who have carried that loss for a quarter century, and pray for all who still live with the scars of that morning.

Yet even in the midst of grief, courage emerged. First responders ran toward danger. Ordinary Americans reached out to help one another. In the years that followed, service members answered the call and carried the burden of defending our nation.

In the days after 9/11, communities came together. Churches filled, prayers were lifted, and Americans were reminded that we do not face suffering alone. Our strength is not found only in ourselves, but in the Lord and in the bonds we share with one another.

Our hope is in Jesus Christ.

Today, we pray that God continues to comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who served, and guide our nation toward greater unity, compassion, and faith. May the memory of the fallen inspire us to live with courage. May the sacrifices of those who served remind us to cherish our freedom. And may the love shown by ordinary Americans continue to call us toward one another.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

May we remember the fallen.
May we honor the courageous.
May we stand together as one nation.
And may we never forget that, even in the darkest hour, Christ remains our hope.

God bless the families of the fallen. God bless those who served. God bless the Americans who showed extraordinary courage and compassion. And God bless the United States of America.

GOC, GOA, GOF, SAF and CRPA are plaintiffs in Richards v. Newsom, challenging California’s mandate requiring federally licensed fi***rm dealers — including home-based FFLs — to maintain video and audio surveillance.

A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit ruled 2–1 against us, allowing California’s surveillance mandate to stand.

But Judge Kenneth Lee dissented, warning:

“The First Amendment shrivels under the constant surveillance of even a benevolent Big Brother.”

Judge Lee also warned that people are “wary of speaking freely if they know that they are being audiotaped,” especially when the government may later listen to those conversations.

Running a lawful business from your home should not require surrendering your privacy to government-mandated surveillance.

Your business. Your home. Your privacy.

This fight is far from over.
