Senior Recognition 2026 -
Alex Jaca, Cris Schuh, Riley Hurliman Connor Martin, Conner Norton, Jaxon Ford
Coach Kimball has known all of these seniors since elementary school. They have become like his own kids, and he’s been thinking about what he would say to them all season. He even started to rehearse what he would say without crying.
Fighting back to tears of joy for them, he chose to not read their senior paperwork as this group doesn’t have that kind of style. They’ve all been through before practice, League and State Tournaments with before and after shoot talks. That is exactly what took place during senior recognition.
Coach Paxton choked up a bit as he spoke as well.
Their bags were built purposefully. The Baker Bulldog Trap Team logo, their names and a lifetime membership to the Baker Trap Club. As you can see, the bags represent the traveling they are about to embark and no matter where they go, the coaching staff is driving to make sure that they continue shooting outside of this program.
They expect to see them at the next shoot, wherever that may be.
They’ve made it through high school graduation and they’re on their way to better their lives with higher education, whether it be a four-year university trade school or military service. This group in particular, has given everything that they’ve had to the trap team program. They’ve been through the tough building stages of finding success, and have fought to climb to the top -

This group surprised the coaches with a super cool engraved Leatherman; Coach Kimball had to go wipe his face and breathe after that…. They got the waterworks.
The sport truly is a lifetime sport.
Hopefully, in a couple weeks, they’ll make history.
