A year ago today we gathered for GFD10. We are truly so blessed to have had a decade of outings to show love and support for our superwoman, Donna.🦋
All these years of events wouldn’t be possible without the year round hard work and dedication of our GFD committee, as soon as one finished the next one was already being planned. Especially grateful for Cheryl, who gave her all to plan every detail, making sure every t was crossed and every i was dotted, while also keeping the Belz brothers in check, which is no easy feat. Thank you💙
We owe all our thanks to our loyal supporters. Every single golfer, attendee and sponsor has become a part of our GFD family. Our event was only successful because of those who participated from near and far. It meant so much to our family and meant everything to Donna, we can never thank you enoughđź’™
And of course, we thank God every day for our Donna. She is our miracle and the driving force of motivation for us all to live life fully with a heart full of gratitude for each moment. This year marked 16 years since her diagnosis and while her mobility and speech has declined, her daily appreciation and love for life has only multiplied. We love you Dđź’™
While we might not be golfing fore Donna this year, we are still gathering and running/walking for Donna on Saturday August 29th at 9am @ Ronkonkoma Middle School. This year’s event looks a little different, but it is still the same purpose. This 5k/1 mile walk is to show support for Donna and raise funds for her Medical-Trust. Link below to register or donate.
