The farm said goodbye today to one of our longstanding ambassadors. A Pure Cowboy, aka Jackson/Boo lived a long, full, well loved life. He brought so much joy to all who had the pleasure of sharing time with him. I can’t say any one of us owned him because he owned all of us.
I am so incredibly blessed to have been the last stop on Jackson’s amazing journey. Emily, Jaycob and Sonnet thank you for sharing him. He was one in a million. A graceful gentleman to his last breath.

Looking for help at my private farm on the south end. Horse experience not necessary but appreciated. Must have reliable transportation and great work ethic. Flexible hours and fair pay. Only about 6-8 hours available on 2 different days with potential for more. $15-20/hour.

Congratulations Colin Hugh Mariani on the purchase of Legally Chipfaced aka Maximus (or just Max). I simply could not have asked for a better match and home for him. Enjoy the ride and keep us updated on all of your adventures together!

I am so proud of this girl and her amazing horse Get a Good Look aka Doug. I was unable to attend the Washington State QH Associations Trophy Circuit this year as I had a wicked case of pneumonia. I sent this team on their own to the show. I am giving this shout out to Kelsiana Marshall not just because of her success in the show pen at Trophy but because of her personal triumphs with her horse and her thoughtful approach to schooling him, by herself, at a big show. Really excited about this pair!

Excellent times with the CedarCreek gang, or part of it anyway... Missing yesterday were, Melissa McDonald, Sonnet Pradel, Holly Wyatt, Elly Cowan and Kristen Davis but our small team brought home blues and reds all day! Anchoring our group, Simone Marshall's daughter, Kelsiana rode her new 2 year old, Get a Good Look, in his first class and won. Our newest team mate, Mei Wilson, rode in her first horse show ever and won one class and took second in another on her new horse Ellie Mae. And Ailish Yourluck Wilson wandered over to the dark side and rode her sisters horse in a Western Pleasure class... and won it!!! (I told her we had cookies and she wandered over willingly ;-) ) Thank you all for such a fun time!

What a great weekend! Saturday, yoga with Sue Steindorf followed by a day of lessons Sunday, with Peggy Cummings. Too good. Lots of unlocking holding patterns that led to smiles around the farm today.
