Under the stairs, tucked into a little nook of the studio, you'll find a painting with just one word: BOLD.

Being bold is not a posture of aggression, but of self-awareness and acceptance. You know who you are, your abilities and capabilities. You are so comfortable in your body that you’ve become confident, brave…. Bold. The light in you shines so bright, you are impossible to miss.

And that's why the word feels right at home at Lighthouse.

Under the stairs, tucked into a little nook of the studio, you'll find a painting that owner, Kristin created herself.

Just one word: BOLD.

Not because being bold means being the loudest person in the room.

Being bold is showing up before you feel ready. Trying the class that intimidates you. Lifting the heavier weight. Walking through the door for the first time. Trusting yourself enough to take up space.

It's choosing growth over comfort and curiosity over fear.
Over the years, we've watched people become stronger here. Not just physically, but in the way they carry themselves. More confident. More certain of who they are. More willing to try something new.

That's the kind of bold we're talking about.

And that's why the word feels right at home at Lighthouse.

We recently had such a special evening here with - Karen hosted an event in the new space followed by a sound bath led by Danielle Ferguson, and afterward surprised us with the most beautiful flowers for the studio. Such a thoughtful gesture and so appreciated.

It was really meaningful to see the lobby being used exactly how we hoped it would be during the remodel. People gathered, connected, and filled the space with such good energy.

Thank you, Karen, not only for the flowers, but for choosing to host your event with us. We loved having you here.

Our lobby space is available for private rentals and events and we’d love to continue finding ways for the community to gather here. Feel free to reach out with any questions about availability.

April did its thing… and now May’s showing up a little brighter. What’s that saying? April showers bring May flowers 🌺

We just got in a fresh batch of socks and yes, they’re covered in florals.

Small detail, but it makes class feel a little more fun right away.

Active April is back! (And this is NOT an April Fool's joke!)

It's a simple challenge and one we hope you join! Move your body every day. That can be a class, a walk, stretching on your living room floor, a quick workout between meetings. It all counts.

Once a week, snap a photo and share it here on social media. A little check in with yourself and with the community. Tag us so we can see you and cheer you on.

At the end of the month, anyone who posts four times is entered to win a free month at Lighthouse. You can keep it for yourself or pass it along to someone in your life.

You do not have to be a member to join this challenge. This is open to anyone who wants a little extra nudge to stay consistent and feel better in their body.

If your account is private, just send us your posts. We are keeping an eye out for all of it.

We will be in it too. Some days will feel strong, some will feel like just showing up. That is kind of the point.

We’ve added a small retail corner at Lighthouse, and I’m really excited about it.

You’ll now find a curated selection of beautiful workout outfits from Wilder Grace, a fun new collection of sticky socks, and some of my longtime favorites from doTERRA.

What makes this addition extra special is the partnership behind it. Wilder Grace is owned by Ali, one of our own instructors here at Lighthouse. Being able to support her business while offering pieces that genuinely fit our community feels really meaningful. Everything in this space was chosen with intention. Pieces we love. Pieces we actually use. Pieces that support how we move and how we feel.

We even tucked a small changing space into the cubby area, so if something catches your eye, you can try it on before or after class.

Next time you’re in for class, take a few minutes to wander, browse, and check it out. I’m really proud of this little addition and even more proud of the people we get to partner with here.

We are so delighted to welcome Makayla to the Lighthouse studio as our newest Bata instructor! Makayla has been part of this studio for a long time. She knows what it feels like to walk through these doors on day one. She knows what it means to stick with it. To get stronger. To find your people here. Watching her step to the front of the room after all these years was a really special moment for me.

She brings heat. She brings humor. She brings that spark that makes you forget you’re mid set and your legs are shaking. Her classes are going to move. They’ll be sweaty and loud and joyful. You’ll work, but you’ll also have a really good time doing it.

I’m just really proud of her for saying yes to this next step. And I love that this place continues to grow leaders from within.

If you see Makayla on the schedule, take her class. You’ll be glad you did.
