The Door County Hey Hey 5k Run returns Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 in Baileys Harbor!

And we owe some big THANK YOU'S to Door County Brewing Co. for hosting us and providing the beer and root beer, to the Peninsula Pulse for all of their support, to our two non-profit groups – Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church and Door County Rotary North, who have been with us since year one at the old brewery. Also thank you to Harbor Custard for the root beer float supplies and Egg Harbor Fun Park for our kids prizes.

And especially, thank you to Mark Merrill and our local emergency services folks who made sure everyone stayed on course and safe during the event. 😎

Race Day is tomorrow! Rimvy and Vaiva model your race shirts – adult in teal and youth in navy! We have about 40 spots left in this year's race. Online registration closes today at noon, but you can sign up in person at Door County Brewing Co. Taproom and DCBC Eats tonight from 6-9 pm, and Saturday at 7 am.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 19

6-9 pm: Pick up your shirt and bib in the taproom, and grab a beer and a bite!

SATURDAY, SEPT. 20

Need coffee? Roost + Banter is open next door at 7 am if you need a pre-race cup of joe! We'll also have a limited supply of drip coffee at the taproom.

7-7:30 am: Register and pick up your shirt in the taproom
8 am: Race starts behind the taproom. You'll get to choose your glass at the bar when you get your free beer or root beer float in the taproom after the race!

9:15 am (appx): Awards announced in the beer garden. If there's rain we'll move awards inside.

3-7 pm: Come back to see Austin Skalecki, a great solo musician, playing in the taproom.

Just a few days till we're back at Door County Brewing Co. for this year's race! There is still time to sign up to run with us!

Come see us Friday night at the taproom to pick up your shirt or register, and grab a beer and bite in the taproom! We'll be there from 6-9 pm. Or get yours on race morning beginning at 7 am. Race starts at 8 am behind the brewery!

We've got great prizes for our top Overall and Masters finishers, special prizes for youth finishers, and great beer or root beer floats at the finish!
