April brought some classic Door County Spring weather, but it didn't stop the anglers from heading out. We saw some incredible catches this year at the Baileys Harbor Brown Trout Tournament, including our first-place winner, Jeremiah, with a massive 21.61 lb trout! Check out some of our favorite pictures from the tournament- it's great to see so many anglers come back year after year!

Thank you to everyone who participated, our local weigh stations for their hard work, Bruce the Harbor Angler, the town and marina, and the sponsors who make this event possible!

Happy fishing out there to all and we're excited to kick off May in Baileys Harbor as we start to see more businesses re-open and our small town come back to life!

For those of you who may be wondering why you're seeing more boats in town the past few days- one of Door County's most beloved Spring fishing traditions, the Annual Baileys Harbor Brown Trout Tournament, is in full swing right now!

Every April, the waters off of Baileys Harbor + Door & Kewaunee Counties come alive! Anglers from near and far cast their lines into Lake Michigan, chasing the beautiful, bronze-spotted brown trout that call these cold, clear waters home. It's currently in it's 38th year and it's the start of Day 3 of the 4 day event!

Here's some pictures of what it looks like day-to-day behind the scenes before the big fish come whirling in. The tournament is as much about community as it is about fishing so sit back, enjoy the pictures to come, and let us know your favorite family fishing memory if you have one in the comments!

Our free, community Winter Yoga session tomorrow on Sunday, March 15th is canceled due to the snow storm & travel risk, but don't fret! Winter yoga will be back for it's final two sessions on March 22nd & 29th before a short break until our Summer Yoga in the Park sessions come back on June 7th!
