Youth Hunting Gear Drive Update! 🏹🍁

The donation bins are officially set up in the clubhouse! If your kids have outgrown their camo, boots, or blaze orange from last season, drop them off and help us gear up our ADSA youth for the woods.

Important Details & Ground Rules:

Collection Period: We are accepting gently used gear all through September. Once collection wraps up, we’ll sort through everything and set it out for ADSA members to browse and take what they need.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ITEMS YET: We ask that everyone holds off on taking gear during the September collection period. We need to evaluate total donations first to see if this is something we can make a successful annual tradition!

Items should be clean, stain-free, and in good working condition. Let’s work together to make sure our next generation of hunters hits the woods warm, safe, and ready!

Youth Hunting Gear Drive: Help Us Gear Up the Next Generation!

Hunting season is right around the corner, and as any parent knows, kids outgrow their hunting gear quickly. Most of us have a stack of barely-worn camo, boots, and cold-weather gear sitting in a closet that only saw one season of use.

Let’s put that gear to good use and help out our fellow club families! We are organizing a Gently Used Youth Hunting Gear Drive right here at the club.

What We’re Collecting:

Youth camo clothing (jackets, pants, vests, base layers)
Hunting boots & cold-weather footwear
Blaze orange safety gear (hats, vests)
Backpacks, gloves, and youth accessories

Gear Requirements: Items should be clean, in good working condition, and ready for another season (no broken zippers, major tears, or heavy wear).

How It Works:

Drop-Off Location & Timeline: Drop off your donations in the marked bin located inside the clubhouse. Bins will be set up starting Friday, September 4th, and we will collect items throughout the entire month of September.

Browsing & Pickup: Hopefully, we will have enough inventory to start putting items out by October 1st. Keep an eye out for a follow-up Facebook post and email blast—we will notify everyone as soon as we have enough to browse through! Once available, feel free to check the setup in the clubhouse and take whatever your young hunter needs.

If this drive is a success, we plan to make it an annual event—so whatever you pick up this year can be donated right back next season once your kids outgrow it again.

Let's make sure the next generation hits the woods warm, safe, and fully equipped without breaking the bank.

Thanks for supporting our club's youth!

Questions? Feel free to email [email protected] or send a Facebook Messenger message to the club. Please do not call the bar with questions. Clubhouse hopens at 3:00 PM weekdays and noon on weekends.
