Say hello to our new Sanitizer Wipes! 👋

We've switched from spray bottles and paper towels to convenient sanitizer wipes! Just grab a wipe, clean your equipment before and after use, and toss it when you're done. 🧼

You'll find wipe stations on the main floor and downstairs, making it easy to help keep our equipment clean no matter where you're working out.

Although the gym has no office hours today in honor of Memorial Day, members can continue their workout routines with 24/7 access to the facilities 💪.

Took the kiddos downtown this morning for a visit to the Huron County Veterans Memorial. We talked about how Memorial Day began unofficially after the Civil War, which is why the names engraved on the Memorial begin with fallen Civil War soldiers; we read through names, and found some family names we were familiar with; we talked about what a Veteran is, what a Blue Star Mother is, what “the ultimate sacrifice” implies.

The park downtown is lovely, solemn, and respectful. The flowers and landscaping are beautiful, and the little fountain makes a peaceful sound. It is set up perfectly for reflection and remembering. I was surprised at all the great questions and conversation it inspired between the kids and myself.

Thank you to Bad Axe and Huron County for this meaningful park, and for all the men and women who inspired it. 🇺🇸
