I have to take a moment to say happy birthday to one of my original boxers-Joe Radomski! I don’t normally post birthdays, but I think that my boxers would agree that this one is alright. Joe or Powerhouse Joe came to our gym with little tiny stutter steps (festinations) and cane. Well, Joe is living, breathing proof that hard work, dedication and exercise pays off. Joe attends every possible class that he can. He gives it his all every time he steps into the gym, whether it be Boxing or Yoga or Voice.,etc. Joe was one of my original boxers to join in 2019. During his training, Joe ended up getting cancer. Joe has had a body full of cancer and was out for months. But he returned! Next was heart surgery…he ended up having a pacemaker and defibrillator placed in his chest. But this guy is remarkable and such a fighter. he returned to the gym and started over again! Joe walks today without a cane, he always always has a great smile on his face, he has one of the strongest voices at the gym, he’s strong as an ox and I promise you, you would not want to be hit by him. His speed and timing are remarkable as is demonstrated in the video. And if you think that it is easy, go on and give it a try. 84?!? Ha!!! It’s just a number!! Happy Happy Birthday Powerhouse!!!
