With the news today regarding the status of the bowling alley, I know this is difficult and disappointing for many of us. It’s unfortunate to see a bowling center close, especially one that has meant so much to our community. For many of us, this has been more than just a place to bowl. It’s where we grew up in youth leagues, competed in adult leagues, built friendships, made memories, and shared our love for the sport.
With that being said, I want everyone to know that the pro shop is NOT closing.
Over the last 4-5 years, I’ve been fortunate to build relationships with so many great customers, bowlers, families, and friends. I’m also incredibly thankful for all the new customers I’ve had the opportunity to meet along the way. Those relationships mean a lot to me, and I have every intention of continuing to serve the bowling community.
Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about this sport. One of the most rewarding parts of running the pro shop has been helping bowlers improve their game, watching young bowlers develop, and seeing people accomplish goals they’ve worked hard toward. That passion isn’t going anywhere.
Over the next few weeks, I will be working on transitioning the pro shop and will resume all pro shop services at a new location. I will share more information regarding the new location as soon as everything is finalized.
In the meantime, if you need anything bowling-related, please feel free to call or text me at 989-415-9756. If you text, please include your name so I know who I’m speaking with. If you call and I’m unable to answer, please leave a voicemail and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
I also want everyone to know that I recently accepted a new job in a different county. Because of that transition, the pro shop will operate by appointment only for the time being. I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as I work through these changes.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who has supported me and the pro shop over the years. Whether you’ve trusted me with your first bowling ball, your tenth, stopped in for advice, or simply supported the shop, I truly appreciate you.
The location may be changing, but my commitment to my customers and my passion for bowling are not.
This isn’t goodbye — it’s simply the beginning of a new chapter. 🎳
