The Huron County Hockey Association (HCHA) is proud to announce Agri-Valley Communications, Inc. as the lead naming sponsor for the region’s new community ice arena — now officially named Huron Ice Arena.
After more than 20 years of planning and dedication, the dream of a new arena for Huron County is becoming reality. Thanks to Agri-Valley’s generous contribution, the new facility will serve as a vibrant hub for local hockey, open skates, youth programs, and community events for decades to come.
“This incredible donation from Agri-Valley will make a lasting impact on our community,” said John Vader, President of the Huron County Hockey Association. “Their support shows what can happen when local businesses invest in the future of our youth and our hometowns.”
The Huron Ice Arena will allow our incredible programs, traditions, and community events to continue and grow — from youth hockey and open skate programs to school activities, and year-round events that bring families together. The facility will also support local businesses by drawing visitors, teams, and community members into the area throughout all seasons. Groundbreaking ceremony is Thursday December 18th, with construction scheduled to begin shortly thereafter.
The HCHA extends its deepest gratitude to Agri-Valley for their belief in this project and commitment to keeping hockey — and community spirit — alive in Huron County.
