It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Thomas Lukanen on July 5, 2026.

Thomas was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, a cherished brother, and an amazing uncle. His love, strength, kindness, and support touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our hearts are broken, and we know there will always be a space that only Thomas could fill. We will forever treasure the memories, laughter, love, adventures and moments we shared with him. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will live on through his family and all the lives he touched.

We ask for your prayers, love, and support as we navigate this difficult time. Funeral and memorial service information will be shared once arrangements have been finalized.

Rest peacefully, Tommy. You were deeply loved, and you will be missed beyond words. You will remain in our hearts forever. 💔💔

The sun has set on another great season of spearing. We’d like to thank everyone for coming out with us this season. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again next season. Now we are in the stage of making plans, and figuring out what next year may entail for us and you.

We’d like to say thank you to the people who helped us this season. From Pikedale Lodge - Leech Lake MN allowing us to go through their access, to Leech Lake Ice Road at Chippewa and Pikedale helping us maintain our ice road.

Everyone from Adventures Guide Service would just like to say thank you for another great season. We look forward to seeing everyone next season.
