Hi Babylon Sideline Cheer Parents! 📣🧡
Thank you for a great Practice #1 tonight! We are so excited to officially kick off our 2026 Sideline Cheer season! A few important reminders as we get started:
📣 DROP-OFF & PICK-UP
Due to our permits, insurance requirements, and safety protocols, parents are not permitted on the field during practices.
Every cheerleader must be signed IN and signed OUT at every practice.
Please drop off your cheerleader 5–10 minutes before practice begins. If you arrive early for pick-up, please remain in the parking lot until practice has ended and the coaches are ready to dismiss the girls. We ask that all cheerleaders leave the field once practice is over.
Please do not linger on the actual field.
**Babylon security spoke with us tonight and reinforced the importance of following these procedures, so we really appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us keep the girls safe.
📣 PRACTICE ESSENTIALS
Please make sure your cheerleader brings the following to every practice:
• Pom-poms
• Water
📣 SAFETY & LISTENING
As the season progresses, our practices will begin incorporating more challenging routines and stunts. The safety of our cheerleaders is always our #1 priority.
The coaches will continue stressing the importance of listening, staying focused, and following instructions. We ask that parents please reinforce this at home as well. The more attentive the girls are during practice, the more we can safely accomplish together!
📣 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
We know everyone is anxious to plan ahead for game days! We will receive the football schedule as soon as the football league finalizes and releases it. Once we receive it, we will share it with everyone ASAP so families can plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience
📣 TEAM COMMITMENT
We have a lot of new cheerleaders this year, and we are SO excited to have them! Our first football game is only a few short weeks away, and we can’t wait to see the girls out there showing their Babylon pride! 🐾🧡
We completely understand that sometimes a child tries a new sport or activity and realizes it may not be for them. Of course, we hope every girl stays, has an amazing season, and falls in love with cheer! However, if your child does not want to continue, please contact Aleks or Anna no later than Sunday.
We currently have approximately 20 girls on our waitlist who would love the opportunity to join the team, so knowing as soon as possible allows us to offer an available spot to another cheerleader.
📣 PRACTICE RECAPS
Lastly, at the end of each practice, we will record a quick recap of what the girls learned that day. This will give them something to review and practice at home and help reinforce their routines between practices.
Thank you for helping us make this a fun, positive, and safe experience for all of our girls. We are looking forward to an AMAZING 2026 Babylon Sideline Cheer season! 📣🧡
Go Babylon! 🐾🧡
