My two cents, too many cooks ruin the stew. Here lately I’ve had several parents reach out to me wanting me to help their kid. Nearly all were well coached with a good jump, just not what they wanted. My first response is always that I think they look good and should probably just buckle down on the things their coach is telling them. The microwave generation of instant gratification doesn’t really want to hear it takes 100s if not thousands of reps to master a skill. I appreciate it when people talk about how our kids jump good but it’s not because of some secret I have, it’s all from hard work on their part. For my two cents, less confusion, more reps and trust your process is the best thing for improvement.
