The detail? You can’t just get to the position… you have to own the position.

Get underneath.
Win head position.
Connect to the leg.

Systems > speed.

In Jiu Jitsu, every position presents a problem to solve. Here, the Kimura looked available — but half guard was still alive.

The priority should’ve been:
➡️ Flatten the opponent
➡️ Kill the lockdown threat
➡️ Win the position

Position first. Submission second.

Force the submission too early, and the position fights back.

That’s exactly what happened here. Lockdown → Electric Chair → Sweep.

Systems > forcing moves.
