We paid out $1,680 for the spring session of our New England BCAPL Tuesday Scotch Doubles division at the Billiards The Billiards Cafe in Ayer Ma. Congratulations to "Team Choi" and "On the Spot" for splitting 1st and 2nd place, each team taking home $590. Third place team "Chalk it up" picked up $330 and fourth place team "Empty Pockets" won $170.
We also started the summer session for this division this week. The number of teams doubled to 12. This is a really fun format where players play 4 racks of individual games and then 4 racks of scotch doubles. We still have room for a couple of teams. If you have a friend and would like to put in a team, this is the time. If you want to join a team and make new friends, let us know.

We are starting the summer session this week and are still accepting new teams. Teams are made up of 2 players and an alternate. Up to 3 players can play each week.

Please call ahead this weekend and next week if you plan on coming to play pool. We have a few tables down as we are swapping them all out for new ones. Won't have all 13 running for another week but we still have about 8 up each day! Thank you for understanding and we can't wait until they are all done!

We have our new pool tables going in this week so there will be no pool leagues. So plenty of tables for the public the next few days!

Ten (10) players won their single boards this week in 8-ball and 10-ball, securing their entry into our "Go to Vegas" single tournaments in the fall. Like our team formats, we skip regionals and other "disqualification" tournaments. Players earn a spot and then play for the trip and entry to Vegas to play in the Singles events in the USA Pool League National Championships.
If you are not yet playing in the New England USA Pool League, why not? Play in the league that puts the player and the sport first.

WE PAID OUT $5,280 for the Spring session of the Wednesday New England BCAPL Master 10-ball division at the The Billiards Cafe. Teams "Glenwood Kitchen" and "We're a good team" split the $2,100 first prize and the $1,580 second prize. Teams "Deep Pockets" and "Shape is overrated" split the third place prize of $1,060 and the fourth place prize of $560.
Our masters division play call pocket-call safe 10 ball. No slop. This is a 3 match format where each player plays 3 racks against all 3 players on the opposing team, for a total of 9 racks.
If you are a strong player and would like to join us, please PM me. The summer Masters session begins Wednesday June 10.
Join us at one of our Vegas New England USAPL divisions or our CASH BCAPL divisions. If there is no USAPL division where you are. let us know and we will come by for a players meeting to get one started.

Join us this Thursday, May 28, at the Billiards Cafe for single boards. This is open to all New England USA and BCA Pool League players. You need to be active on a roster in the format being played, and a minimum 100 robustness. We start at 6:00pm and will run boards in both 8 ball and 10ball.

We have some good news! We are replacing all our tables in the next few weeks with gold crown 4s!
Our 9ft Brunswick tables we currently have are all up for sale. If interested please send me a DM!
