The 2017-2018 Dangerzone season is now in the books! Holding seed and playing a tight game with UNCW showed us that this team has the ability to stay with anyone in the nation. Now onto a busy off-season of club ultimate and grinding for the next season.

A big farewell to our seniors! Joseph, Zach, Jiuru, Leon, and Gabe, you all have played significant roles in the development of our program, and your hard work and dedication on and off the field have set an example for the rest of us. Thank you guys for everything you have given to the team and the epic memories throughout the years. We'll miss you guys!!

P.S. Don't be too sad; Jiuru will be playing for a 5th year while getting his Masters in ChemBE!

Meet super senior Gabe "Gaby Baby" Kaptchuk (get it because he's OLD) from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Gabe graduated last year with degrees in CS and EE. Now he is getting his PhD in Information security. Mainly he just hides in his lab in Malone and comes out the third Saturday of each month to do "just Jewish things." When he's not in lab, you can find him giving campus tours and teaching people the correct way to pronounce "challah." Gabe has been on the team for approximately 15 years according to the Jewish calendar; this will be his last year playing for us :(. On Dangerzone, Gabe plays shutdown handler defense while occasionally skying kids in the endzone (see image attached). He is known for being the loudest on the sideline, getting hand-blocks, foot-blocks, and the occasional body-block. Basically, Gabe loves getting the Ds.
