🥋 KEARNEY PARENTS - COME TRY KIDS BJJ FREE!

We’re excited to officially start Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Wiltse Brothers BJJ on Tuesday, September 1st!

Classes are for kids ages 7-14, and the first week is completely FREE. Come meet the coaches, let your child get on the mats and see if BJJ is something they enjoy!

With classes five days a week, there’s plenty of flexibility around school, sports and busy family schedules.

No experience needed. Beginners are welcome!

🥋 Why BJJ for kids?

BJJ is about a lot more than learning how to grapple. Kids get to stay active and have fun while building confidence, discipline, focus, resilience, coordination and body awareness.

On the mats, they learn to listen and follow instruction, solve problems, stay calm under pressure and keep trying when something doesn’t work the first time. They also learn respect, how to be a good training partner and how to work through challenges and frustration.

BJJ also teaches practical grappling and self-defense skills in a controlled environment, while giving kids a place to make friends and be part of a team.

And for young wrestlers and other athletes, BJJ is a great way to get additional grappling experience, develop body awareness and spend more time on the mats.

🏆 A little about our coaches…

Kids will learn from BJJ black belts Andrew and Sathya “Bird” Wiltse, who have experience teaching both kids and adults and bring years of high-level BJJ training and competition experience to Kearney.

Together, their accomplishments include:

🥇 7 IBJJF Pan American Gold Medals

But your child doesn’t have to compete. Whether they’re completely new, already involved in sports, interested in competing someday or just want to learn something new and have fun, they’re welcome on our mats.
