It's the same in life. The people who are successful, they learn how to reset and focus how to get the result they want.

Same as in tennis. You have two opponents, your opponent and yourself.
If you let the frustration take control of you, you're gonna lose the match.

So you have to beat that guy inside if you wanna have a chance to beat the guy that is on the other side of the court.

That's what tennis teaches you, and it teaches you the hard way, because before being completely aware of it, you're gonna lose a lot of matches because of your frustration.

If you find a way to deal with your emotion, you have a good chance to be able to do the same in your life.

Our Avon Oaks Girls Tennis Camp was truly inspiring! It was wonderful to see so many smart, determined, and hardworking young ladies coming together to improve their tennis, build friendships, and learn from one another. Thanks to our varsity players for mentoring!

Attention Parents of 6-8th grade girls.
Several parents have contacted me about opportunities for their daughters to improve their singles and doubles match play and prepare for upcoming competition. If your daughter is planning to play tournament tennis or is preparing for high school tryouts, we invite her to join us on Tuesday, June 30, from 12:00–3:00 PM for a Strategy, Tactics, and Match Play Training Session.

The cost is $60 per player. Space is limited. Contact me through the yellowball website if your daughter would like to participate.
