I fear with last week's low turnout some parents thought WMYSA ended with the night games, that isn't true.

Tomorrow is the last week of regular season games, next week is the final week with championship games being played!!

Next Saturday, October 4th, we will be playing the "Under the Lights" games!!!! Lakes League plays at 6pm, Mountains play at 7.

We need help with concessions! If there are parents who would like to help out by bringing a crock pot of food, or some baked goods for us to sell, please message and let us know.

Last year we had over 300 people in attendance. We are hoping for just as big a crowd!

You may have noticed a ref that was lacking in stature today at the later games. We ended up being a little short staffed with high schoolers today (it happens) and Logan Maynard (6th grade) was willing to step in and help out.

Logan is a product of the WMYSA program and currently plays on the WMU travel soccer team, as well as the Day Mountain Middle School Boys A Team. And had actually already played a travel game earlier this morning.

We are always happy to see our WMYSA kids moving up and doing great things as they progress. He did a great job with his first experience as ref and is willing to come back, if the need arises again.

Our first day is this Sunday!! This will be in person registrations and evaluations.

Online registration will close on Sunday morning at 8am. Anyone trying to register after that will have to do it in person.

Also this Sunday, we will be collecting registration fees. This years fee is $30 (middle schoolers is $15). It will include the cost of the t-shirt.

We are hoping for another great turnout! Thank you for your continued support for this great program!

The 2025 soccer season is upon us! We are planning in person sign ups as well as evaluations (pending approval) for Sunday September 7th from 1pm to 3pm at Mt. Abram High School. As always, this program will be open to all kids from PreK to 8th grade. If you would like to register your player ahead of time please go to www.wmyouthsoccer.com and fill out the online player registration form. Online registration is available now! We hope to see another amazing crowd this season!!

Congratulations to Logan Maynard for being selected to play for the ODP (Olympic Development Program) team to represent the state of Maine!!

Logan is a product of the WMYSA program and currently plays for Day Mountain Middle School and the WMU (Western Maine United) travel soccer team.

Way to go Logan!!

AND THAT'S A WRAP!!!!

CONGRATS TO ALL THE PLAYERS ON A GREAT SEASON!!!

For the Lakes League, the attendance was low, so we consolidated all of the teams and ran ONE GAME for all the marbles!!

In the end, it was the blue team that prevailed in a tightly contested match up that finished 3-2.

On the Mountains League side, we had undefeated Katahdin facing Spaulding. Ellie Dentico ended up coaching her team to a perfect season with a 4-1 victory!! Way to go Ellie!!

Thank you so much to all of the parents for all of the support!! And thank you to all of the coaches and refs for donating their time to support the program!! We appreciate you all!!

Hope to see you all again next year, out on the pitch!!!!

This Sunday 10/27 is the final weekend!! All games are for Lakes and Mountains Leagues only!!

Middle school is all done. Pre-K is all done.

At 1pm the final games for Lakes will be:

At 230pm the final games for Mountains will be:

Next week is our final week of the season. Each league will have a championship game between the #1 and #2 teams. All other teams will have a consolation game.

We still have WMYSA 2023 shirts for sale for only $5!! The kids love these! 6 colors to choose from, several different sizes. Ask for them at the concessions table.

We still have an unclaimed crockpot from the night games, if it is yours, please see us at concessions. If it goes unclaimed at the end of the season, it will be donated to the boosters.
