Shoreline Sailboats was started by brothers, Kyle and Darren Leonard, in 2012 as a way to promote their favorite sport, sailing. They agreed that the most fun they had sailing as kids was on the iconic Sunfish. They raced big boats and windsurfed, but to really be able to get out on the water quickly in just about any conditions, they always relied on their family Sunfish. Shoreline was establishe

The Melges Spark is a modern training dinghy designed to help young sailors build confidence, develop proper technique, and simply have more fun on the water. With its stable, high-performance hull, carbon mast and boom, simple rigging, and no-bail cockpit, the Spark keeps the focus where it belongs—on learning to sail. It also offers two sail sizes, allowing the boat to grow with developing sailors as their skills progress.

Whether you're evaluating boats for your junior program, summer camp, sailing school, or club fleet, we'll work with you to arrange a multiple-day, on-site demo so your instructors and sailors can really put the Spark through its paces.
