Hi AESC Swimmers and Parents,

The 2023 season is fast approaching, and we are looking forward to another great swim summer!

We will be discussing the season on Wednesday, March 22nd at 6:00pm via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/93423834066 (https://zoom.us/j/93423834066).
Registration will be open from March 23rd - April 17th and we will then place shirt and cap orders.
Last Chance Registration will be open until June 7th, but we will be unable to guarantee apparel immediatly for all last chance registrants.
The season starts on June 8th with our first home meet on June 20th.

Hi Eagle Swimmers! We are one week away from our new swimmer orientation! Here are some things to keep in mind.

✅ Monday, June 6th 5-6 pm new swimmer evaluations. This is any swimmer with or without experience that are NEW to Avon Eagle Swim Club.
• Please come in your practice suit, with goggles, a water bottle, and a towel.
• All swimmers MUST be able to swim at least 25 yards, unassisted and in a legal stroke, to be considered for the team.
• While swimmers are in the water – parents will have a quick orientation on what to expect in the season and swim meet volunteer jobs. Please see our website's Swim Practice and Swim Meets Info sections for additional information. New swim parents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and get help with navigating the On Deck app and Team Unify website.

✅ Tuesday, June 7th 5-6 pm New Swimmer Introductory Practice
• Please come in your practice suit, with goggles, a water bottle, and a towel.
• An introductory first practice will take place. Coaches will review practice agenda, discuss common swim terms, and help new swimmers be comfortable with how practices are run before we dive in to the 2022 season!

✅ Thursday, June 9th FIRST PRACTICE FOR EVERYONE!
• If you are a returning swimmer please attend the practice group that you feel best fits your child’s age and swim ability. Coaches have the discretion to place individual swimmers in the practice group most appropriate to their swimming ability.
• White Group: 8:30-9:15 am
o 8 and under swimmers
• Gold Group: 9:30-10:30 am
o 9 and up swimmers with some knowledge of all strokes
• Purple Group: 9:30-11:00 am
o Experienced swimmers legal in all four strokes
• Please come in your practice suit, with goggles, a water bottle, and a towel.

Registration will be open from April 11th - April 22nd, and the season starts the week of June 5th with our first home meet TBA between the 14th or 16th.

What a fantastic Monday! Great to be back at the pool and to see happy, smiling, swimmers (and parents) again.

We had a great response for the 2021 swim season and spots filled up quickly! Due to COVID restrictions, registration is now at capacity for the following groups: 8 and under; 9 - 12. There are a few more spots left for 13 and older swimmers.

Just a reminder, the season begins June 7 and runs through July 24. COVID waivers will be posted on our website (avoneagleswimclub.org) and will need to be filled out and turned in before your swimmer can practice.

We cannot wait to see everyone soon!

We had been hoping for a swim team this season but due to current circumstances and the safety of our swimmers and their families, North Coast Swim League has decided to suspend the 2020 recreational swim season. For those of you that have already registered, expect a full refund by mail.
