The rivers are 45.
Walleye night bite is on after 7.

That magic number hit!!!! 68 degrees
Start looking for a slight north wind bringing bait fish close.
Remember; fresh run see's in blue/green hues until there optic nerve cells change....

Time to tie....start looking for those north winds bringing in bait fish., and fish early a.m.
By p.m. our steelhead will migrate back out to the lake.
Remember, `68 degrees is our majic number

If ur in to smallmouth on the fly rod, I would stick to the shores of lake erie from 7-9 p.m.
Harbour areas especially. On the streams as far as resident numbers and size the rocky river and vermilion.
Another option is finding limestone flats around the islands and there's plenty of them. This is a great time of year to look into Google earth and explore...have fun

Now is here.....
Fall;early fish have spawned under high water and most have left.. these first fish of the year will spawn as cold as 34.2 degrees. Water temp.
While waiting for spring rains, tying now is essential as the final 65 day push is upon us.
