Landline phones back on. We appreciate and thank Frontier for the prompt service. One of the wires in the copper line was broke. They also explained to us the decommission of our landlines that are serviced with copper lines. See you all soon!

1st week of September 2026!!! Here are our hours for the week. OPEN TUES, WED AND FRIDAY 1 - 4. SATURDAY 11 - 2.
Thanks for another great week past! The folks that come to this little ole store in the bean field is great! Cousins stopping to say HI and visiting with customers from far and near! Thanks to Mike S. and Joe H. for making certain we would eat! Yes, the phone lines went down, but they are back up and working. Thank you, Jeff B., for your great advice!! Don't see any shoots scheduled for the upcoming weekend. Have a good one and remember we are open Friday and Saturday!

Just a quick note this morning will post more later. Last week we were busy handing out flyers for the Swap Meet that was to be held at blue Water Sportsman on September 12, 2026. We were not aware until this a.m. that it was cancelled. SO NO SWAP MEET AT BWSA. In the event you know someone that we gave the flyer to kindly pass the word on. Now we were not going to set up at it as we are dealers, BUT the Tradin' Post will be open for all your muzzle loading needs and SKB's.

Mr. Anson and Mrs. Judy were pleased to be guests at the Blue Water Sportsman Muzzle Loaders Summer League Dinner and awards night. So nice to see so many folks in attendance. Our senior is a young 87 years and our newest is 6 weeks old! A nice potluck ek meal was served in the newly renovated club house. Jim Rinker was our master of ceremony and presented the awards to the shooters. Top r***e was Roy Young and top handgun was Roy Young. Now he certain Roy had some
good fellow competitors for certain. Our "Young" (geez. he he has been one of our kids fover) Joe Provost shared with fellow shooters that he would be reporting to the Board of Directors with muzzle loading news and updates. He also presented the schedule of shoots for 2027. Great job Joe. The Winter League starts early in January and will be run by Joe Provost and Pete Galante. Thanks to all the volunteers that stepped up to run the summer league in the absence of long time leader Ron Provost. A moment of silence was offered to pray for our fellow members who are ill. Thank you for the invite and remember we are here for you!!

For those that are headed to a hunt out west and need muzzle loading supplies, we have a good inventory of products.
Hunting season in Michigan is approaching next month.
