During a consultation call with a competitor client yesterday I was asked this question. After more than 10 years coaching competitors the eye for predicting how a physique will look at stage condition has improved. This is still an unknown especially for a first time I prep a client. Let me explain. β£

How you prep, will define how you look at the end of prep. Using ultra low fat, ultra low carb and very high protein diets will create muscle loss. Muscle loss will also cause the metabolism to decrease quickly requiring more and more of the same. I often speak to competitors who did ridiculous things like eating only lettuce, oil and protein for long periods. β£

With Andi I knew she had amazing shape, but I will be honest in that she has AMAZED me as every week she just got leaner and harder. This week the food goes up, and as the scale has been dropping during peak week the muscles are fuller. β£
Special thanks to and for this great training session.

Here is the formula, continue to build muscle while losing body fat in prep. This transformation sure looks like a lot more change on the scale than it is. This is because we recomped during this process, took recovery days, diet breaks and now when most competitors are depleting, we are eating! No cutting water, only managing it, no cutting sodium as that helps us fill out and checking in daily assures when she hits the stage Saturday we will be at our best look all prep! Full, Hard, and feeling amazing physically and mentally. β£
