Hey y’all!
My name is Amber, and I currently live in Austin, TX! I am a member of the PCA team Cheer Austin, and I am a UT White Squad hopeful for 2025-26! I’ve always loved cheerleading and performing arts from a very young age; in fact, I don’t think I’ll ever stop until my body forces me to!
Another huge aspect of my life is my sobriety. I am an alcoholic and struggled on and off for years with my drinking. By the grace of God, I am now sober and hopefully things will stay that way!
The idea of The Sober Cheerleader came about as I was thinking about how both cheerleaders and people in recovery love to encourage and uplift others! A few things you will see on this page:
-Videos or posts offering kind words and encouragement

-Get Ready With Me (GWRM) for events, trips, and gamedays

-Sobriety updates and advice
-Fun giveaways
This is a space to be vulnerable, be yourself, and maybe even find new friends!! I just ask that you are kind to others in the comments, and not engage in any unwanted contact with others. If someone is making you uncomfortable, please feel free to report them! Keeping this page a safe place is my top priority.
