If you've been thinking about signing up for my Strength Kickstart women's bootcamp in Austin, let me answer some questions so you know whether it's right for you:
💪 How much does it cost?
Sign up by April 10 and you pay $177 — less than $30 per class. After April 10 it goes to $227.
💪 How many days a week?
3x a week — Tue/Thu/Sat at 7:30am.
💪 How hard are the workouts?
Plenty challenging, with modifications for beginners.
💪 What do the workouts look like?
Full-body dumbbell strength training focused on hypertrophy — low reps, heavier weights. "Heavy" is relative. You pick what's challenging for you.
💪 I have arthritis. Can I still join?
Yes. Strength training is beneficial for arthritis, and several of my clients with arthritis have made great progress. So long as your doctor is good with it, I'll modify workouts for your needs.
💪 Am I too old?
No. I work with women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who are building strength and feeling better in their bodies.
💪 Do I have to change my diet?
For best results, yes — I'll give you personalized protein and calorie targets and ask you to log food in MyFitnessPal (free).
💪 Where and when?
May 5–16, Tue/Thu/Sat mornings at Richard Lord's Boxing Gym, 5528 N Lamar Blvd, Austin. Workouts are outside behind the gym. (No, I won't make you box.)
Early bird is $177 through April 10 — goes to $227 after that.
DM me "KICKSTART" to sign up.
Still have questions? I'm hosting a free Q&A tonight, Wednesday April 8 at 6:30pm CT — DM "Q&A" and I'll send you the link.
