Mostly Well

Mostly Well I’m Lisa Wade, NASM-certified personal trainer, Texas Masters boxing champion, and author. Stay well, y'all.

I became a personal trainer and started this business to share knowledge with women & help them enjoy fuller, healthier lives. I’ve long been interested in exercise and healthy eating, but after watching my mom’s health deteriorate due to her battle with brain cancer, and being stunned by the breast cancer diagnosis of my otherwise healthy aunt, my interests in fitness and healthy living were kick

ed into high gear. I started Mostly Well to inspire women to care for their bodies so they can enjoy fuller, more confident lives. So far, my own wellness journey has led me to:

Cook more often
Eat more fruits and veggies
Run half-marathons
Become a competitive amateur boxer
Sleep better
Prioritize my mental health
Set boundaries in my work and personal life
Have more energy and embrace life more fully

My wellness journey was about me for a while, but I’ve since realized how many other women are struggling to balance their health and wellness with the demands of their daily lives. I became a personal trainer and started this business to share knowledge with other women and help them enjoy fuller, healthier lives. I offer on-demand workouts, merchandise, and digital goods.

What happens when women in their 40s and 50s stop chasing quick fixes and actually trust the process?

They lose nearly 30 pounds. They lift their kayak into their car. Their friends start asking what they're doing differently. Their skin glows. They feel good in their clothes again — and they never want to stop moving.

These are real women. Real results. And it started with consistent strength training.

Strength Kickstart is my 2-week outdoor women's strength bootcamp in Austin, TX — May 5–16 at Richard Lord's Boxing Gym. We build real strength, real confidence, and real habits that stick.

Early bird pricing ends April 10.

If you've been thinking about signing up for my Strength Kickstart women's bootcamp in Austin, let me answer some questions so you know whether it's right for you:

💪 How much does it cost?
Sign up by April 10 and you pay $177 — less than $30 per class. After April 10 it goes to $227.

💪 How many days a week?
3x a week — Tue/Thu/Sat at 7:30am.

💪 How hard are the workouts?
Plenty challenging, with modifications for beginners.

💪 What do the workouts look like?
Full-body dumbbell strength training focused on hypertrophy — low reps, heavier weights. "Heavy" is relative. You pick what's challenging for you.

💪 I have arthritis. Can I still join?
Yes. Strength training is beneficial for arthritis, and several of my clients with arthritis have made great progress. So long as your doctor is good with it, I'll modify workouts for your needs.

💪 Am I too old?
No. I work with women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who are building strength and feeling better in their bodies.

💪 Do I have to change my diet?
For best results, yes — I'll give you personalized protein and calorie targets and ask you to log food in MyFitnessPal (free).

💪 Where and when?
May 5–16, Tue/Thu/Sat mornings at Richard Lord's Boxing Gym, 5528 N Lamar Blvd, Austin. Workouts are outside behind the gym. (No, I won't make you box.)

Early bird is $177 through April 10 — goes to $227 after that.

DM me "KICKSTART" to sign up.

Still have questions? I'm hosting a free Q&A tonight, Wednesday April 8 at 6:30pm CT — DM "Q&A" and I'll send you the link.
