As a former contract aerial coach
for Cirque Du Soleil, she specializes in aerial silks, aerial rope (corde de lisse), silk cloud swing, sling, and the unique “pocket lyra”. Michele has a variety of acts designed for each apparatus and welcomes collaborators or special requests. Currently residing in Austin, Texas she has performed in venues across the country including; Seattle Symphony Music Hall, The Moore Theater (WA), The Children’s Museum of Memphis, The Historic Everett Theater (WA), The Experience Music Project (WA), The Lakewood Theatre (TX), Harrah’s Casino (LA), The Triple Door (WA), Neumo’s (WA), The Highball (TX), The Georgetown Ballroom (WA), The Rose Garden (OR), The Crystal Ballroom (OR), Telluride Theatre (CO), Can-Can Theatre (WA), Act Theatre (WA), The Austin Music Hall (TX), The Palmer Events Center (TX), Hyatt Regency Hotel (Austin, TX), and many more. Michele is committed to continuing education in movement arts for both inspiration and personal advancement. Michele Frances was appointed to role of “Aerial Ring Leader” of an independent circus troupe in Seattle for 3 years. She was also a recurrent guest on the public television series called “Get Loweded”, hosted by Jackson Lowe for its full four year run. While living in Seattle, Michele also regularly performed at both the Columbia City Cabaret hosted and produced by the iconic Tamara The Trapeze Lady, as well at The Pink Door a famous Seattle waterfront restaurant. Between the years of 2005 and 2010 Michele was a regular featured performer with the underground, “Seattle Semi-Pro Wrestling” troupe as seen on Fox News and the Wall Street Journal. During those same years, Michele also regularly performed on aerial silks with the nationally acclaimed gritty junk yard-cabaret band “The Bad Things”. Michele has also performed aerial acts in independent productions such as the full length musical play “The Birthday Boy” (Friday Harbor, WA 2011 and 2012), the heavy metal opera “Arakus” (2009 and 2010, WA), “Alice” (Seattle 2005), Can-Can productions’ “Viva Oz Vega” (Seattle, WA 2008), and “The Time Machine” (Austin, TX 2012). Currently Michele is accepting requests for booking and collaboration nationally and internationally.
