BEST WALL DRILLS FOR BEGINNERS ⬇️ 1 - Dinks off the bounce. Practice making contact under the ball instead of behind the ball. 2 - Volleys. Practice controlling height and trajectory of the ball off the paddle by adjusting paddle angle and grip pressure. 3 - Speed ups to Reset. Practice attacking and keeping the ball low near the height of the net. Reset the speedup after it bounces off the wall to work on control and touch as if you got countered. Play around with grip pressure and flicking around the outside of the ball. Check out my page to see everything I’ve learned in my journey so far! joseph

A common mistake with backhand slices in pickleball is chopping down or swinging across your body. Both will lead to mish*ts or a serious loss of control. Instead, focus on a smooth forward swing and cupping under the ball — the motion should look like a banana!
