A NEW ERA OF JIU JITSU BEGINS AT KINGS MMA AUSTIN
We’re proud to officially welcome Robert “Degle” Diggle to the Kings MMA Austin coaching team.
Robert trained extensively under John Danaher inside Renzo Gracie Academy’s legendary Blue Basement in New York City, earning his brown belt directly from Danaher. He later received his black belt from Brandon Bennett, a third degree black belt under Renzo Gracie and John Danaher.
Robert’s lineage runs directly through one of the most influential coaching systems in modern Jiu Jitsu.
His technical knowledge and competitive résumé speak for themselves:
• Multiple-time ADCC Open champion
• Gold medalist across Europe, Asia, and Australia
• 21 time Grappling Industries champion
• Internationally recognized leg-lock specialist

Having stepped inside the cage himself, Robert understands how elite grappling must adapt when strikes, takedowns, cage control, and real fight pressure enter the equation.
