The Superlarks youth football team finished the regular season 5-0 with a 20-12 victory over the Buccaneers this morning in Austin!

Grand Meadow raced out to a 20-0 lead in the first half. The Bucs scored two late touchdowns off Superlark turnovers.

The Superlarks play in the championship game next Saturday at 11:30 vs Leroy-Ostrander in Austin.

However, they first play a friendly game against Kingsland at US Bank Stadium on Sunday at 7pm! We'd love to see as many fans at the game as possible! The boys will be taking a bus from the school, which leaves at 3pm.

The youth Superlarks Football team moved to 4-0 on the season by beating the Jets in Austin by a score of 21-0.

The Superlarks scored three times in the first half and held their opponent scoreless for the second straight game and third time on the year.

Next week the youth team plays twice.

First they play the Bucs in Austin on Saturday at 8:30am for the final regular season game before the playoffs.

On Sunday at 7:00pm they play Kingsland at US Bank Stadium. The kids are super excited and we'd love to get as many fans as we can to fill the place. You can buy tickets at the link below. Tickets are good for the entire day.

UPDATE! The young Superlarks pitch a shutout and defeat Leroy-Ostrander 8-0 and move to 3-0 on the year!

Saturday, the young Superlarks take on Leroy-Ostrander in Austin at Westcott Sports Complex. Game time is 11:30 am, or immediately after the preceding game if it runs long.

Both teams come in as the only remaining undefeated teams at 2-0 and will battle to take over stole possession of first place!

This year we’ll try live streaming the game with an auto tracking camera. Apologies in advance if it doesn’t work out. Link below!

The fifth and sixth grade youth football team posted another win over their rivals from Southland Saturday, 15-12.

The Superlarks struck first on a long run by Carson J. The extra point was no good.

Southland scored next after the Superlarks fumbled a handoff deep in their own territory. The extra point was no good - tie game at six.

After a few back and forth possessions a great punt by Blake K pinned the opposition deep, and Southland was tackled in the endzone a few plays later for a safety. Superlarks were up 8-6.

Another touchdown by Carson J, this time on an interception return put GM up 14-6. Chase VH scored the extra point and we were up 15-6.

A very late run by Southland made the final score 15-12!

Good job Superlarks! They move to 2-0 and take on Leroy-Ostrander next week, who are also 2-0. The game is scheduled to start at 11:30 in Austin.

UPDATE: GM 26 - Raiders 0. Great game Superlarks!

Carson, Chase, Noah and Ethan from the youth program helped with the coin flip and were part of the tunnel for starting lineups at last nights varsity football game vs Kingsland.

Today, they and the rest of the young Superlarks take on the Raiders in Austin at Westcott Sports Complex. Game time is 11:30 am, or immediately after the preceding game if it runs long.
