With 2 weeks to go to the start of the 2025 Tire Rack One Lap of America our preparations are in full swing. Building, fixing, and testing the car to get it ready for over 3,000 street miles and 16 competitive driving events

Throw back to my favorite lap of 2022. This wasn’t my best driving, or even my fastest lap at this track. But I got to enjoy a lap of Circuit of The Americas with no other cars on track, the full Super Lap Battle live stream focused on me and all my teammates cheering me on from the pits.

It really was an unforgettable experience at a bucket list track.

Here is our fastest flying lap from Blackhawk Farms Raceway during Gridlife's Track Day Picnic.

I had a lot of fun running in the HPDE sessions. There was a fair amount of traffic but it was fun navigating it, and everyone was extremely courteous on track.

We spent the weekend at Blackhawk Farms Raceway with Gridlife for their track day picnic. At this event we competed in the standing start autox, which is a single fast lap from a standing start.

This is our winning run. Unfortunately we hit a boost protection in T6 which cost a little time, but still P1 for the event.

After having a couple of days at home to process the crazy, stressful, but ultimately rewarding week that is Tire Rack One Lap of America I can say the biggest emotion I feel is pride.

While we were not able to come out on top this year I’m very proud of the little Honda that could mix it up with the big boys.

Over the course of 8 days we travelled over 3,200 miles, across 13 states and competed in 16 competition events.

After it all shook out we were just 105pts behind 1st place and a mighty 350pts ahead of 3rd.

One Lap of America is a unique event in that your fiercest competitor is also often your biggest ally. For that reason I am extremely happy for Tom O'Gorman and Steve Loudin for their well deserved win for the second year in a row.

As always it’s our partners that make this possible. Thank you so much to Andy Smedegard and ASMotorsports for prepping and keeping the car running with some ingenious fixes through the week. Zebulon MSC Ltd., Garrett - Advancing Motion , and RS Motors for the aero that allows this car to punch well above its weight, and Touge Factory for getting us the parts we need when we need them (it’s always an emergency).
