We were looking for individual tennis lessons for our twelve year old daughter this past fall. We were so fortunate to have found Coach Steve, a veteran player, and most importantly a truly great teacher and professional. At the onset, Coach Steve asked us about our goals, so he could formulate his teaching strategies. We were not looking for something too serious - just a fun form of exercise that she could carry into adulthood. As I was able to observe, I noted how Steve was able to tailor his lesson in a way that met our daughter’s needs. As she was not relaxing with her strokes and choking her racquet, Steve changed his words from “bounce, hit” to “re” “lax”. I thought this was brilliant. I am most certain that if she wanted to pursue tennis in a serious way, Coach Steve would be able to deliver. To top it off, Steve has a great and easy going personality and he has really connected with her and her love of music. She looks forward to her tennis lessons each time. Coach Steve has our highest recommendation!!!
