Big ups to the big guy Michael Everett Moore for hitting 3000+ classes at our school this year. Pretty sure he hit another 500+ in Costa Rica too 🏄‍♂️

But whatever. He’s kind, gentle, charming, handsome, giving, and continues to embody yoga each and every day by simply showing up, making the most of his best, and checking in on all of us here with his big empathetic and loving heart 🫀

Save the Dates! On Aug 29-30 we are so excited to host Dr. Rose Erin Vaughan Dr Rose Erin Vaughan, DAc , Doctor of Acupuncture and founder of Science of Self Yoga, for a rare workshop that will deepen how we teach, practice, and heal through all the yoga postures we teach at our school.

Rose’s work maps the poses we practice to meridian pathways, organs, and emotions, transforming familiar shapes into targeted tools for physical and emotional balance.

These insights have deeply influenced the foundations of how we practice and teach here at YEA, and this two day workshop spreads that knowledge across our whole studio. Gabriel, Erin and Laine have all trained with Rose Erin and her teachings are peppered throughout the classes they teach.

You will learn to integrate gentle yet effective breathing techniques, yoga postures, and acupressure-based self-treatment in which you will be guided to tune inward—observing both physical and emotional sensations.

Whether you’re new to yoga, a seasoned student, or a teacher, this workshop will change how you experience every posture and amplify the therapeutic value of our full spectrum of classes—Bikram, JM Vinyasa, Rocket, Spine/Hips, Forrest...

Super stoked to learn from local legendary teacher, Andrew Bresnen, of 🤘🏼

For the next three Fridays at 6p, Andrew is teaching as he learned from his teacher, Sharath Jois.

This is a beginner friendly class and everyone is encouraged to give it a try. 75 mins of class plus 15 mins of Q&A with Andrew after practice.

This class: Advanced. 84. 2 hour. Ghosh. Whatever you want to call it, it has been taught by our teachers before leggings and yoga mats. They learned it from Bikram.

The lady on the left is Emmy, she was the principal teacher at Bikram’s school, and we were lucky enough to learn this sequence from them before she passed and his school closed.

We offer it every Wednesday at 12p. If you love Bikram Yoga or Hatha classes on our schedule, this class is the well where those classes were harvested from.
